new year, new blog?

For some reason, I can't update lj from my laptop anymore, which definitely puts a dent in the updating.

edit 4/17: I think I was just trying to put off studying, but all of a sudden I wondered if lj would delete my old account after a certain period of inactivity. I went back and re-read the entries and decided I didn't want to lose them, so they've been transported to blogspot. *sheepish grin* The entries aren't capitalized. They have those silly smiley faces at the bottom, and odd spacing, but just want to keep the family together.
