Basically, we found ourselves with 70 tickets to spend in 15 minutes. It was kind of amazing. We scattered, and sped off to tackle Taste. Instead of our usual careful deliberation, we went off on our own (gasp) and bought whatever was in sight. I believe I ate fried dough, my second Eli's frozen chocolate chip cheesecake crunch dipper, celtic corn on the cob drenched in butter, steak taco, BBQ rib steak sandwich, a morsel of frozen s'more, and a scoop of cherry italian ice in oh under 12 minutes. It was very Kobayashi, and actually kind of gross if you think too hard about it.
Taste was a lot of fun this year. We were able to make it out three times. Through lots of sharing of taste sized portions we were able to try mango fries dusted with tamarind chutney, curry french fries, buffalo burger, fiery wings, baby frozen bananas, plantain and steak sandwich, vegetarian samosas, BBQ meatball sandwich, coconut rice with goat, rainbow cone, lemon and cherry italian ice, sweet potato salad, pad thai, sesame beef stick, hummus salad, fried dough with strawberry syrup/powdered sugar/whipped cream, mozzarella cheese sticks, and every nutrisoda flavor. Whew.
