Anyway, on February 3 I got seven missed calls, literally once every hour, because Jon proposed and they're engaged!

I couldn't be happier, because in Jon, Ellen's found her dream Cantonese/Mandarin/English speaking stud, who has 20/20 vision, no allergies and shares her love for life and God. He's a great guy. And in Ellen, Jon's found one of the most talented, caring, beautiful, sweet, brilliant, witty, wonderful people I've ever had the pleasure to know. I mean, you only have to look at her history of AIM screen names to know - ellojello85, naturallog03 (LN = ellen, get it?? hah!).

Miss Ellen Young, we've survived k-12 through college, parking space antics, late night chats, Mr. Compton, Junior Miss, LSD, Olympics 2002, and every up and down that comes with growing up, and I'm so happy for you as you move on to the next stage in life. Damn, Jon's a lucky guy. ;)
