11:43 PM me: lol
Albert: and his senior ball asking method

me: thanks
Albert: so simon tells me all afternoon yesterday
that hes going to ask this one girl to SB
he lays out all these plans, blah blah blah
11:44 PM i ask him if anybody else wants to ask the same girl
he says this guy named chris
so i tell simon, you'd better hurry up lest he asks first
and simon agrees to do it on monday
anyway, back to friday (yesterday)
simon and i go watch wolverine
after that, i gave him a ride to church
church started at 7:45 that day, we got there at 7
so i start cursing him out (lovingly of course) for making me wait for him
11:45 PM anyway, at about 7:05
chris rolls up in his car
and has flowers, cookies, the works
serious fml moment for simon right there
chris was going to ask this girl friday night at chruch
me: lol, lovingly
omg
freaking a
Albert: so at my insisting
11:46 PM i tell simon to hurry the hell up and call her
me: -_-
Albert: im hella good wingman here
simon locks himself in my car
and i go out to talk to chris and stall
me: -_-
Albert: simon calls her 21 times with his phone
the phone dies
he then borrows mine
calls 3 times, she picks up
11:47 PM me: she was probably avoiding simon :p
Albert: he calls her and says "i had this really elaborate plan, involving a song, a poster, and something else, but things changed, and now chris is going to ask you, but please go with me
no, she was watching tv
me: omg, so unromantic!
Albert: lol
me: who is this girl?!
Albert: anyway, she laughs
then says "im still expecting that poster simon"
me: hahahah
good for her
Albert: massive "awwwww" moment
me: 9_9
Albert: anyway, so chris just got pwned
11:48 PM he brought cookies, flowers, the works
but simon beat him to it by like 2 minutes
literally
me: that's sucks!
Albert: the most intense part about the story is how its so fate-like
think about it
if we hadnt watched a movie that day
simon would have gone home, gone to church with his mom
and arrived at 7:45
too late to see chris ask her first
me: omg, that would have been a true fml
Albert: and also, we chose to watch wolverine
11:49 PM instead of monsters v. aliens
which would have cost us an extra hour
and the only reason why we didnt watch it was cuz 3-D glasses cost 3 bucks
me: lol, you cheapass asians
Albert: so we were cheap, and it turns out, our cheapness caused us to go early 1 hour
just in time to catch chris
and he just so happened to park right next to us
so we saw his flowers
it was so perfect
a major korean drama moment
me: poor chris
i hope he can give his flowers to someone else
are you going to go to SB?
11:56 PM Albert: yeah i had a good story too
Albert: not as epic as simon
Albert: this girl is korean
but likes japanese stuff a lot
and can speak it
so i baked cookies
12:00 AM that said セネルバール？
directly translates to
se-ne-ru-ba-ru?
aka senior ball?
me: lol
how did your cookies say that??
Albert: meticulously carved them out of a cookie
12:01 AM me: what kind of cookies?!
Albert: macadamian chocolate
me: did you bake them from scratch?
and you carved japanese into the cookies?
waah you'r crazy
12:02 AM so how did you actually ask?
did you just give her cookies?
and what did she say?
please get a form fitting tux this year!
12:04 AM Albert: ill get a good tux
12:05 AM and she said yes
