i think i've had a little too much of chinatowns this summer - flushing, original ny chinatown, philly, chicago, toronto, sf...ugh....no more chinese food, more specifically, heavy, greasy, salty, dark, starchy, restaurant chinese food, please!
i think i saw the statue of liberty from the car window when we crossed the bridge. but since i didn't even go to times square, this doesn't really count. nonetheless, i can no longer use "i've never been to new york" in never have i ever.
