My building put up the Christmas lights and turned on the heating lamp over the doorway. Winter's on its way!

I watched all the Ellen clips of Barack dancing, and then Michelle dancing. Again and again.

Things that make me happy: Qdoba post call, working with Bruett, Grey's episodes that make you cry and laugh, driving towards the Chicago skyline at night, clean/bleached white coats, teaching rounds with Bob, the new first family, third year.

I really don't get you sometimes, but we've been friends for 22 years, and I think we'll make it through.

DB's "If you're not the one" came on the radio and I swooned a little.

Turns out you've made quite a few enemies your year. My sub-I hates you even more than I do, and you know, I feel pretty validated.
